Twin brothers singing original compositions. Friends of Folk is a nonprofit organization devoted to the promotion and preservation of folk music in Delaware. This concert series is made possible by a grant from the Kent CountyFund for the Arts.
Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Visit the Zoo as the environment is getting ready to burst to life for the spring season! Help us welcome spring and leave behind the cold of winter in a fun afternoon of activities and learning stations centered on all our Zoo friends!

New: Waterfowl Walk

Delaware benefits from a great location along bird migration routes. This makes it an excellent place to see birds as they fly through the region. For this program, we will catch the end of waterfowl season as well as the beginning of shorebird migration. Experience the natural wonders of the First State! No birding experience is required.

Join us at the nature center to discover an unseen world through the lens of a microscope. All ages are welcome. Free!
Mason & Dixon’s Post Mark’d West History Hike
Sunday, March 11 from 1 – 3 p.m.
Guest Speaker: Mike Ott
Meet at the new Possum Hill Parking Lot. The Mason-Dixon Line was really a survey to mark two large land holder’s properties. That east-west boundary line began its history right here in White Clay Creek State Park. Join us on a moderate hike to this historic marker. Bring plenty of water. Space is limited, pre-registration is required by noon on March 8. Free.
