See the Views From Hawk Watch Overlook

Hike Through Tulip Tree Woods
Experience this old-growth forest filled with giant 200-year-old Tulip Poplar trees. Discover the Hidden Pond vernal pool, and as you hike to the Brandywine River, you may see remains of historic mills and farmsteads.

Soak in the scenery while tubing or paddling down the Brandywine River. The park offers guided canoe trips, or you can tube down the river on your own. Enjoy beautiful views of the Brandywine Valley, especially during the fall!
Hike the Rocky Run Trail
Natural Blue Granite and significant elevation changes make this the most rugged trail in Delaware State Parks! Enjoy majestic stands of Beech and Tulip Poplar trees as you hop stones to cross Rocky Run. Part of the trail runs through Delaware’s only National Park, First State National Historic Park.
